Introduction: Convenience Without Compromise

If you order regularly or prefer contactless delivery, storing your card on file can make things a whole lot smoother. But I know it also requires trust.

That’s why I handle card-on-file payments with clear policies, written approval, and full transparency. You’ll always know when I’m charging your card and for how much.

Here’s how I do it—and why it’s safe, secure, and completely optional.

1. Your Card Is Stored Through Stripe—Not By Me

I use Stripe, a leading secure payment processor, to store and manage all card information.

That means:

  • I never see or store your full card number

  • Your payment data is encrypted and protected at the highest level

  • Charges are only processed after your order is completed and totaled

It’s the same system trusted by businesses worldwide—and it allows for safe, contactless transactions without apps or middlemen.

2. Card-on-File Requires Written Authorization

Before I store your card, I’ll meet with you in person to go over a brief agreement outlining:

  • Your preferred payment method

  • The type of delivery you prefer (contactless or in-person)

  • How and when your card will be used

You'll be able to enter your card directly through my Stripe app on a secure mobile device. I never manually input or retain your card details myself.

This ensures everything is transparent, secure, and set up with your full understanding and consent.

3. When I Use Your Stored Card

Once your card is on file, I’ll only charge it when:

  • Your grocery order has been shopped and totaled

  • I’ve texted or emailed you the final amount

  • You’ve responded with approval or confirmed your usual method

You’ll still receive a full receipt and breakdown, just like always.

This method is ideal for:

  • Clients with recurring deliveries

  • Contactless drop-offs

  • Busy professionals who prefer not to meet every time

4. You Can Update or Remove Your Card Anytime

If you ever want to change or remove your card on file, just let me know. I’ll send a secure link to update it—or delete it from the system entirely.

You’re always in control.
