Introduction: Clear, Secure, and Personal
I use trusted third-party tools like Stripe to process payments securely and efficiently—without relying on marketplace apps that inflate prices or take a cut.
Whether it’s your first delivery or your tenth, I keep things personal, transparent, and flexible. Here's how payment works and what you can expect every step of the way.
1. What You Pay For (And What You Might)
You’ll always receive a receipt and clear total. I charge for:
The exact cost of your groceries
A service fee that we’ll confirm in advance
A delivery fee based on distance and order size
Optional gratuity (never required)
No markups, hidden charges, or surprise fees—just honest pricing for time, quality, and care.
2. How First-Time Payment Works
For your first delivery, I’ll meet you in person and process payment using:
Tap-to-pay (Stripe reader via Visa, Mastercard, Amex, etc.)
Zelle (preferred for direct transfers)
Meeting in person also gives me the chance to review your total, answer any questions, and make sure everything looks right.
💬 Depending on our ongoing relationship, I may be open to offering other payment arrangements on an individual basis.
3. Once You’re a Returning Client: Flexible Options
After your first delivery, you’ll have access to more flexible payment methods:
Contactless delivery with card-on-file (requires signed authorization)
Zelle transfers completed before drop-off
Ongoing in-person delivery and payment, if that’s your preference
Your privacy and comfort matter. Some clients choose to meet every time—others prefer to keep things hands-off. I’m happy to accommodate what works for you.

Final Thoughts: No Guesswork, No Surprises
From your very first delivery, I make payment as smooth and personal as the service itself. Whether we continue meeting in person or move to a more contactless setup, you’ll always know what to expect—and that your total reflects real groceries, not app fees.
