Introduction: Save Time, Skip the List-Building

Planning meals is the fun part. Turning that plan into a full grocery list? Not so much. That’s where I come in.

Whether you’re meal prepping for the week or planning a few special dishes, you can simply send me your recipes—and I’ll handle the rest. I’ll convert them into a complete, efficient shopping list and make sure you get the right ingredients, quantities, and brands when needed.

Here’s how I make recipe-based shopping simple, accurate, and personal.

1. Just Send Me Your Recipes—However You Have Them

There’s no need to retype or organize everything. I accept:

  • Links to online recipes

  • Screenshots or scanned recipe cards

  • Photos of handwritten lists or cookbooks

  • Pinterest boards or saved Instagram posts

Whether you have one go-to meal or a whole week's worth of ideas, I can work from it.

2. I Turn Recipes into a Complete Shopping List

Once I receive your recipes, I’ll:

  • Break down all ingredients by category (produce, pantry, etc.)

  • Combine duplicate items (e.g., if multiple recipes call for onions)

  • Estimate reasonable quantities based on servings or notes

  • Note optional items or common pantry basics, and check with you before including

If anything is unclear or appears to be missing, I’ll reach out to confirm before I shop.

3. I Shop with Your Preferences in Mind

As always, I:

  • Prioritize freshness, ripeness, and ingredient quality

  • Select specific brands if you note them

  • Choose allergy-safe or dietary-friendly options when needed

  • Adjust based on your usual preferences or prior orders

And if an ingredient isn’t available at your preferred store, I’ll check alternatives or offer a substitute that matches the recipe as closely as possible.

4. Need Help Planning? I Can Help With That Too

Some clients send recipes for:

  • Weekly meal prep

  • Holidays or events

  • Special diets or new eating plans

Others simply say, “Here’s what I’d like to make—can you shop for it?”

Whatever your process looks like, I can help translate your ideas into a fridge full of exactly what you need.
